The Ngala Parenting Line has expanded to support parents and carers with queries about children aged up to 18 years old.
From today, the Parenting WA line will be diverted to the Ngala Parenting Line which is often the front door for many parents experiencing difficulties along their parenting journey.
The expansion of Ngala's helpline means all parenting queries can be answered by phoning one number.
Ngala's qualified staff offer understanding, reassurance and expert advice and operates from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
Outside these hours, the call-back service allows parents to leave a message and receive a call back within 24 hours.
The Ngala parenting helpline can be accessed by calling 9368 9368 or 1800 111 546 from country WA.
The Ngala parenting helpline is funded through the Department of Local Government and Communities (DLGC) and the Child and Adolescent Health Service.
For information about upcoming parenting courses, 'like' Families WA on Facebook or contact DLGC on 6551 8700.
