Ngala Family Services has been awarded a five year contract to deliver a State-wide Parenting Line which offers support for families with children aged 0-18.

The Department of Local Government and Communities (DLGC) in collaboration with the Child and Adolescent Health Services (CAHS) worked in partnership to establish a single contractual arrangement for the provision of the parenting line.

Through this service, Ngala aims to provide timely responses for immediate parenting concerns and connect parents and carers to relevant services and resources.

Ngala's qualified staff offer understanding, reassurance and expert advice and operates from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

Outside these hours, their call-back service allows parents to leave a message and receive a call back as soon as possible.

The Ngala Parenting Line can be accessed by calling 9368 9368 or 1800 111 546 from country WA.

The Ngala Parenting Line is jointly funded through DLGC and CAHS.
