A free information session is being held on 29 June to help carers develop plans outlining future caring decisions for themselves, or the person they care for.
The session is presented by the Department of Local Government and Communities in partnership with the Office of the Public Advocate and the Public Trustee and will cover:
• wills, will storage and the administration of deceased estates
• Enduring Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Guardianship and Advance Health Directives
• the role of the Public Trustee which offers independent, professional trustee and asset management services
• the role of the Public Advocate in protecting adults with a decision-making disability.
The information session is being held on Thursday, 29 June 2017, 12.30pm to 3.15pm at The Exhibition Hall, Level 2, Gordon Stephenson House, 140 William Street, Perth.
Morning tea and refreshments will be provided. The event is free, however, bookings are essential. Register online
by 5.00pm, 26 June 2017.
