Expressions of interest have opened for a new reference group to advise Volunteering Minister Mick Murray on trends and issues impacting the Western Australian volunteering sector.
The Volunteering Community Reference Group will assist to advance volunteering in Western Australia and provide feedback on the implementation of a WA volunteering strategy.
Membership of the group will include representatives from not-for-profit and volunteering organisations including Volunteering WA, the corporate sector, research institutions, State Government representatives, and individual volunteers.
An expression of interest is open to fill four positions – two from the community services and volunteering sector, and two for volunteers from the general public.
