Up to $80,000 in grants is available for Western Australia's National Youth Week celebrations.
The Department of Local Government and Communities is now accepting applications for funding of up to $1,000 for organisations to host a National Youth Week event in 2016. National Youth Week will be held from 8-17 April and celebrates the positive contributions of young people to the community. The grants program enables organisations from across the State to work in partnership with young people to plan and implement the week's events.
WA's National Youth Week events are led by Propel Youth Arts in partnership with DLGC. More than 100 events took place in WA during National Youth Week in 2015, 88 of them receiving a DLGC grant. Applications are open until 4pm on 22 October 2015. For more information or to download a copy of the application form and guidelines visit the DLGC open grants webpage or email email@example.com
