Addressing Family Violence in the Kimberley Grants Program 2020-2022

Communities has a total grants budget of $2.6 million to trial the Addressing Family Violence in the Kimberley Grants Program focused on developing place-based family violence interventions in the Kimberley region. Grants are available to Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs) or organisations working in partnership with an ACCO.

Age-friendly and Dementia-friendly Communities Grants Program

Grants of up to $15,000 are available for local governments and incorporated not-for-profit community organisations to implement age-friendly, active/positive ageing, other seniors-related strategies, and dementia-friendly strategies.

Age-friendly and Dementia-friendly Communities Grants Program applications are now closed.


Age-friendly Communities Social Connectivity Grants program

Grants of up to $15,000 are available for local governments and incorporated not-for-profit community organisations to implement age-friendly, active and positive ageing, and other seniors-related strategies that focus on reconnecting older people with their community and building capacity to remain connected should any further COVID-19 social isolation restrictions be imposed in the future.

Age-friendly Communities Social Connectivity Grants Program applications are now closed.


Anzac Day Trust Grants Program

The Anzac Day Trust grants program provides funding to ex-service organisations to support the welfare of ex-service personnel and their families. 

Please note that application process and assessment remains the same, however, the program is now managed by the the Department of Jobs, Tourism, Science and Innovation.

Community Gardens

Grants of up to $10,000 are available to assist with the planning, development and implementation of community garden projects across Western Australia.

Grants for Women

Grants of up to $10,000 are available for local governments and community service organisations to implement projects that focus on addressing the unique issues faced by women.

Thank a Volunteer Day Celebration Grants Program

Grants of up to $1,000 are available for community organisations to host events or activities on Thank a Volunteer Day, December 5.

Youth Engagement Grants Program

Grants of up to $10,000 are available for local governments and community organisations to implement projects that engage young people (10–18 years old) in creative ways and help achieve positive outcomes.

Youth Week WA

Grants of up to $1,500 for individual events and up to $3,000 for collaborative community-wide events are available for eligible organisations to host an event during Youth Week WA 2020.
